Good Wood Boat Company

Andante, Tideway sail number one, has recently been repaired by Good Wood Boat Co.  Andante is the Tideway that has won the Challenge Trophy more times than any other boat.  She came to Good Wood for new garboards, hog, timbers (ribs), rubbing strakes and varnish.  Good Wood Boat wishes David and Debbie Phillips ‘good starting’ for the Challenge Trophy to be held at Marconi Sailing club in a months time.

The timbers (ribs) of Good Wood Boat latest tradtional clinker build have recently been steamed and fastened in place and so attention has turned to her fit-out.  Her layout is designed to accommodate two rowing positions and two passengers.  Check ‘Latest News’ for her progress.
